With a proven track record as a generalist in the Human Resources field, Florence also brings considerable expertise providing one-on-one career coaching through a leading-edge, global career transition organization and has developed an in-depth understanding of the challenges facing those in transition. Florence also delivers a variety of workshops at various levels of an organization.
During her twenty years in HR, Florence held the positions of Human Resources Manager, IS Resource Director and Sr. H.R. Consultant in a broad range of industries including pharmaceutical, IT, manufacturing and financial services. She helped organizations grow their business, helped them downsize their business and introduced various innovative programs to attract, retain and motivate employees.
Florence brings a knowledgeable and supportive approach to working with small groups, creating and facilitating various workshops such as Career Reintegration, Designing Your Life, Effective Communications, Navigating through Change, Behavioral Interviewing, Performance Management, Employment Legislation and Time Management as well as many others. She continues to deliver Ontario Management Development training through a local college that prepares students to succeed in a global economy, consistently receiving excellent evaluations.
Florence has certification in Personnel Industrial Relations, Career Counselling Development, Adult Education, Dispute Resolution and Business Administration. She is a member of The Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario and Strategic Capability Network, and has chaired several organizations on a volunteer basis.
