Ross, Jules Keren

Jules Ross fuses her academic credentials with her dynamic experience in the creative fields. Educated as a lawyer, with a joint Law/M.B.A. degree, Jules has been working in the entertainment industry in many capacities; including lecturing, hosting, producing, promoting, writing, and acting.

Initially, Jules worked on the business side of the industry, consulting, writing and presenting business plans for many companies (i.e. Phase One Recording Studios, The Rex Bar and Jazz Club, etc.) She assisted in Urban Aids, a concert to raise money for the Stephen Lewis Foundation, by organizing financing for the event. She also worked in creative development in the film and television department at Associated Producers Ltd. In this role, Jules often acted as a mediator in order to advance stalled entertainment projects. Over time, she began paneling at the Rock 'n Reel Festival, lecturing at Durham College on legal and business issues in the entertainment industry and hosting fundraisers on behalf of World Vision and the Daily Bread Food Bank.

Jules has published articles in 24 Hours, trade papers and has had a monthly legal and entertainment based column at Sugarcain Entertainment.
