
Knight, Nicholas C
Nicholas C. Knight is a Toronto-based mediator, negotiator, trainer, business consultant. He trained over 10,000 people as a corporate trainer, and consulted on several high-end projects.
Mr. Knights' foray into negotiation when he was hired by the Yellowknife Territorial Court in 1989 where he worked as coordinator and negotiator in the Fine Options program offered by the Civil Courts. Here he negotiated on the behalf of the individuals who had court imposed fines and looked at options were they could pay back the community.
Mr. Knight has over 15 + years of experience as a Corporate Consultant. He has worked in fortune 500 companies such as Glaxo Smith and Kline, Cadbury Trebor Allan, Pillsbury General Mills, Corus Entertainment, Canon Canada, William M. Mercer Inc., TMG Inc., GEAC Computer Corp. Crown Corporation Ontario Government Ministries Branch, Hydro One, and Ministry of Economic Development, and New World Technologies Inc., Phaeton Electronics Inc., Integrated Human Resources, and Mississauga Community Living in the capacity of Training and Development and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He has been called by several companies to train in areas that include Project Management, IT/Technical, Sales/Retail, Project Management, Change Management, Document Management, E-Learning, Sarbanes Oxley IT Business process, Release Management, Crisis Management, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Mr. Knight has a Bachelor degree in Psychology from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec and a degree from Athabasca University. He holds certifications in Adult Learning, Mediation and Negotiation from the Faculty of Law Windsor University; he is a SAP Power User trainer, CDIA, MSCE, A+ certified trainer, and Microsoft Administrator. He received his Diplôme D’études Collégiales from Dawson College in Montreal, Quebec.
