Performance Management Process (PMP)
Most companies have them, yet most managers don't use or don't know how to use them. The PMP is an essential component to organizational success, individual development and long term succession planning. The challenge is that very few managers will actively use this organizationally strategic process in a way that supports what it was designed to do. The typical scenario is that managers (at all levels of the organization, including Sr. managers) consider the PMP as a "once a year thing" they have to do. The reality is that PMP is an ongoing process that involves support, coaching and continuous staff development, each of which is essential for the long term success of the organization.
This PMP training program begins with a thorough review your existing PMP structure and PMP program, and then builds on that framework so that your managers and employees understand what it is all about, why it is important, how it can be used successfully, and how easy and simple it is to do when it's not left to the last minute. This is an excellent program for any organization that is not currently using their PMP process effectively, or for organizations that are about to begin using a PMP methodology.
Topics covered in this workshop include:
- Organizational importance of PMP,
- Legal implications of an improper PMP,
- PMP and coaching,
