The Mindfulness for Today workshop is an invitation to a journey of self-discovery and exploration into new ways of knowing and being through the practice of mindfulness. The program includes periods of guided instruction in a number of meditation practices, periods of silent exploration, and collective inquiry, all designed to nurture deep, penetrative awareness, personal insight, and the creativity that flows from within them. Importantly, the workshop not only teaches you the skills underlying the practice of mindfulness, but focuses on how to apply these skills to everyday life and helps you design a mindfulness practice based on your own needs and life situation.
This workshop makes it possible to achieve powerful life results. This workshop fosters a deep personal understanding by helping you to:
- Increase emotional well-being and stability, and reduce stress,
- Become more aware of your thoughts and feelings, without over-identifying with them,
- Avoid traps of negative thinking and negative emotional and behavioural patterns,
- Live deliberately rather than automatically,
- Increase your awareness of new possibilities and choices,
- Enrich your everyday experience of life at work, in relationships, and other
activities, - Explore and deepen your sense of meaning and purpose.
The Mindfulness for Today workshop provides an ideal foundation for becoming more focused, engaged, and creative in almost any aspect of your everyday life.
