Problem Solving and Decision Making

This workshop covers the essential components for all staff, supervisors, team leaders and managers to be able to first recognize and understand organizational or individual problems and then make informed decisions as to best strategies to solve it.

Anyone can create a plan, but only by understanding the root cause of any given situation can the best decisions be made to achieve the desired objective and solve the real problem. The two biggest mistakes in problem-solving are first, a decision is made without really understanding the root cause of a problem, and second, failing to recognize and acknowledge that a real problem actually exists.

The Problem-Solving and Decision Making workshops engages participants in a dynamic format that combines extensive interaction and group work. The goal is to transfer the knowledge and skills necessary to identify the root cause and then to make an informed decision on how to deal with the real problem.

This workshop looks at problem-solving from a bottom-up perspective.
